LACTATION SERVICES

Yes, breastfeeding is natural and yes, sometimes women and babies need help figuring out how to do it. I know first hand the many challenges that come with meeting breastfeeding goals. I have cried from pain and worry, and with A LOT of help, met my own breastfeeding goals. This is why I trained to become a Certified Lactation Counselor. Many new mothers need the support of someone who has been there before, someone who knows the evidence based science behind breastfeeding, someone who understands the joys and limitations of modern life on a breastfeeding duo.  I am thrilled to help you meet your breastfeeding goals, whatever they may be.

Lo at Quabbin Birth Services dramatically improved my nursing experience. I had been nursing my son for eighteen months with discomfort and a nipple that cracked often. I had reached out to other lactation consultants in the past but had no improvement. Lo gave me great advice that stopped the pain and cracking nipple while nursing. I only wish I had met her sooner!
