The best bottles for both oral motor development of the the face, jaws, cheeks and tongue are those that have a gradual slop with a longer nipple that allow the baby to latch onto as much of the base of the nipple as possible. Most bottles that are shaped like the breast actually lead to poorer function. In most cases you will want to stick to the slowest flow bottle nipple for the designated bottle.
